Mundo Latino: Gotanda
Mundo Latino is a self-styled "Latin Store" that sells a wide variety of goods from Latin American countries. There's a medium-sized selection of food products, including beans, large dried corn, many kinds of chorizo sausage and an array of canned goods and condiments, along with queso campesino (a kind of fresh, white cheese).

More impressive is their large CD selection, which covers a broad range of Latin American musical categories such as merengue, salsa, 'pop y rock', tropical, bachata, vallenato, and even baladas and 'Navidad.'

Plus, they have an extensive array of recent Spanish-language magazines, DVDs and videos. New releases are announced by a regular peel-open postcard sent to customers.

Mundo Latino also produces a catalog for home delivery - great news for the many Spanish-speaking people living outside of Tokyo. Details are available on their attractive website, which is in both Spanish and Japanese.

The store seems to serve the growing community of Latin American residents in the Gotanda area, home to a number of Latin American embassies and companies.
